Update!
Well, it's been awhile since I posted, I've not been getting much done in the sewing room. Last week I went to see Bonnie Hunter at the Beaumont Guild. She inspired me to reorganize my scraps into lights and colors. Presently, I have my strips by size mixing lights and darks. What happens is I make a mess every time I start searching for the color strips I want. So I got the new storage unit and now need the inspiration to settle done and get busy. Need to stay home and not spend so much time running to appointments. Today I have time to do just that. So will show pictures of my progress later.

Block 12 of Jelly Roll Sampler
Well, this it it, block 12. I sure have enjoyed working on these blocks. I sure hope the lady will do another. This was so neat. I was surprised to see the picture and it looked like the outside edge was fussy cut. It wasn't really, but just turned out that way. This one went together so easily. Really enjoyed this project. Now to set it together. I had thought I'd make some of my favorite blocks to make a lap size quilt. Still may do that. I did organize my stripes and added the remaining to my box of stripes to the Sylvia's Sampler box. I still have lots of stripes left.
One more done!
This block is the Grandmother's flower garden block. I did this by hand so it got done. Notice this is fussy cut. Both most importantly, do you notice I didn't cut the background straight? One end is shorter than the other. Not sure if I will redo that, but I had cut this block out twice by mistake, so may go ahead and do that. I don't usually do the fussy cut thing, but it was fun.

Sylvia's Bridal Sampler
I'm not posting a picture of anything since I haven't finished any blocks. Not great I realize. However, I have a plan to get me going on my project again. I made it to the last 2 sessions at the quilt shop. I still don't feel up to bringing the machine, so I've been cutting out blocks to make later. As I have worked on that I realized it might make it easier to catch up if blocks were ready for the retreat I'm going to next week. So far, I have 7 blocks ready to work on. Hopefully, when I get back I'll have some progress made and pictures to share.
